Gar. Okay, can you find the config file for you font server and post
that? It might be in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xfs, or somewhere in the
neighbourhood
What I'm trying to check is that you have entries for your bitmap font
directories with ":unscaled" appended listed before your scalable font
directories, and the same bitmap directories without the ":unscaled"
option listed *after* the scalable font directories. The idea is that
X will prefer bitmaps for specific point-sizes over scaled outlines,
and only use scaled bitmaps as a last resort.
