This is to announce the formation of LEWD (Linux Enthusiasts West Dublin).
LEWD's purpose is to provide a forum for ILUG members who live in the
western parts of Dublin (we can include those in the Kildare suburbs too :-)
) to get together occasionally for a pint or three. The idea to found LEWD
came after a conversation with Conor Wynne, another Denizen, and it
crystallised when after a while tossing Linux, User, Group, Dublin and West
around in my head I came up, in the best traditions of LAID, with LEWD and
it was just too good to waste.
I've no idea when the first pissup^H^H^H^H^H^H meeting will be - I'm just
running this up the flagpole to see who salutes.
Regards,
Niall
