Not sure if you are referring to Demon or the UK in general, but an
OFTEL report[1] from last year showed Demon as being very reasonably priced
when compared to other international DSL providers, local bias taken
into account.

Quality of Service and the Terms and Conditions are very important too.
Taking an analogy, comparing a 31 Euros a month DSL provider with other Dutch
ISPs may be the same as comparing Esat SNL with other Irish pay ISPs in
that it looks great in theory but in reality isn't.
