[ILUG] OT But esat unlimited has been scrapped

[ILUG] OT But esat unlimited has been scrapped

Well said!!

I have to say that NoLimits is a vast improvement on the other options. Ok,
I have had my problems with it and at times have blamed Esat when it has
actually been at my end. Like others on here, I got another line in for net
access only and my saving on net access pays for the new line comfortably.

Esat are to be congratulated on their initiative in providing the service.
It's a pity that other ISP's weren't willing to take on Eircom - maybe then,
we would have the sort of net access we deserve.

As for the 3-hour limit, well, I can't say that I've experienced it. I tend
to log on most evenings for 4-5 hours without being bumped off.

I can understand Esat restricting new users to the system. After all, Esat
(like every other company) is in business to make money, not to provide a
service at a loss. And if restricting access reduces any losses they are
making, then who could blame them! I'm just glad that they have not scrapped
the system.

Mike
