[ILUG] ppp woes...

Hi,
When trying to connect to Eircom I get the following
message in /var/logs/messages

http://www.csn.ul.ie/~dmac/temp/messages

It hangs when the message "Welcome to Eircom!" appears
and dies.
It looks like the username and password is not being
sent.
I can connect OK using minicom.
It has to be something simple but I've been trawling
through this for 2 evening so if you can spot the
problem let me know and Ill forever be your fool...
