A dead cap eh, you weren't trying to get rid of the APIC errors by any chance
were you? I've thought about doing this myself but am not willing to sacrifice
my BP6 till I can afford a VP6.
Was it Kate that had a BP6 go sparky sparky when in contact with a heatsink
about a year ago? Did this have a happy ending (blown fuse or something simple
like that)?

Sorry for the off topic posting.
Did somebody on the list mention that they had an old BP6 that was totally
dead.
If so would they be willing to give it away for parts.
I broke a capacitor on mine and am having trouble getting a replacement.
So if the board is totally dead I would be interested.
Thanks in advance.
