Hey, all -
It looks that lugh (www.linux.ie to y'all) succumbed to the infamous
VM free_pages bug in old Linux kernels last night - it was down from
roughly 11:30pm last night until lunchtime today, when I was able to
get up to eircom/indigo to reboot it.
Now that our uptime is gone west (was about 320 days), I think I'll
take the chance later this week to do some kernel updates which I'd
been postponing (that'll teach me, eh?)
The Gods of Microsoft are clearly incluential in that our server
should crash on the very day that we're running a stand at the eXpo,
but such is life.
Thanks to Richie in Internet House for being efficient and helpful,
even though I dragged him away from his lunch.
