[ILUG] CD tip

[ILUG] CD tip

Whalley, Anthony awhalley at pmi.pmg.ie
Thu May 3 09:19:48 IST 2001

I was at the EXPO at the RDS and the lads on the stand gave me atip.

Problem
I can listen to CDs extract data on windows. I can only extract data in
linux
However when I rip CDs to the hard drive they play OK.

Answer
There is no data connection between my cd player and my
soundcard/motherboard because Pack Bell are scabby.

Has anybody any tips as to where on the southside Dublin I could pick up one
of these cables as I don't fancy a trip to Petes jsut for this.

Guys on stand come forth and be recognised for you brilliance I trawled
every where for this and I have had the penguin on the PC for 2 years.

Anthony
