[ILUG] upgrading rpm package with same version but i386 instead of i686

[ILUG] upgrading rpm package with same version but i386 instead of i686

Lennon, Conor clennon at accuris.ie
Thu May 3 15:04:13 IST 2001

I have Redhat 7.1 with glibc-2.2.2-10.i686 installed as an rpm (was
installed by default)
I would like to replace this with glibc-2.2.2-10.i386
How do I run rpm to replace the i686 version with the i386 version?
I'd like to do as little 'forcing' as possible.

Thanks in advance,
Conor
