[ILUG] Reiser-fs

I have seen this, but It was because I Kompiled extra checking in the
kernel. It basically verified twice every write to the drive or something.
Recompiled without it and bobs your auntie.

reiser-fs is a journalling file system, while we will
have to wait until ext3 to get it there. There
are definite benefits with this, but recently we have been
seeing reiser-fs running five times slower than ext2, has
anybody else seen or know how to resolve this behaviour?
