[ILUG] Reiser-fs

[ILUG] Reiser-fs

Personally I would go with reiserFS, its basically a journaling file system,
such as jfs or loath I say it, NTFS, or whatever, the nice thing about it
is, fsck is gone! If you are lazy and do a reboot without downing the
volumes correctly then it doesn't care, it still boots in the same time.
Nice for people with 30GiG volumes. But kinda critical in an enterprise
server.

Thats all I know and it ain't much, and I may be wrong :)

Subject: [ILUG] Reiser-fs

Can someone explain me the differences between a reiser-fs and a extf2? Or
where i
can find informations about it?

And is it better to use a reiser-fs or a extf2 in a server system?

Regards,
stk
