indeed. If they were both at the same stage of integration into Linus
tree I'd go for XFS, but they're not. Might be a while before XFS
goes in.

Also, XFS is huge for a fs.

very handy, even for a home machine. Eg, my homedir has about 400MB
of crap in it.. and i've had this homedir since i started using
linux. Getting a nice reminder that you really should do a bit of
spring cleaning every now and then in the form of not being to
write to your homedir stops it ballooning.

also good if your /var/spool/mail is not on a seperate fs, to prevent
mail from filling /var and potentially DoSing your box.
