hey all,
-----------cut here----8<------------
: from the web site, this would really put ILUG on the European if not
global
: map!
What do you mean put ILUG on the map? We *are* the map.
But seriously, I personally have seen linux.ie linked from at least
6-10 mainstream linux websites. Most recently I saw the article
on Portsentry vs. Snort linked from www.screaming-pegiun.com
I reckon this is a brilliant idea. That and the magazine idea
have been on my mind lately. Thankfully it has temporarily
put the iiu crap out of my mind. I was thinking also of maybe
creating an archive of linux applications, but with the
frequency of releases of some of them it'll be hard to keep
something like thatup to date.
Anyway, l8r,
Shane.
: Best wishes
