Now any recommendations on cables? Laplink.com say their s/w will only
work with their cables - any ideas on how they differentiate between
cables from different vendors and if this would affect it working under
Linux?
The cable at http://www.comcatusa.com/comcat/bafbfusblapc.html has an ASIC
chip on it - am I right in thinking this means it's 'Application
Specific' and won't work under Linux?

This cable might work - any thoughts?
