man forward is your friend, but briefly, if your local user name is david,
and you want to forward a copy to david at goliath.com, create a .forward file
in your home directory like this
\david, david at goliath.com
which will send a copy to david and david at goliath.com - the \ on david
inhibits further forwarding.
