[ILUG] Groups under Exim

Alan Smith asmith at intuition.com
Thu May 17 09:42:35 IST 2001

I have a small problem with Exim. I have about 15 groups set up under Exim -
all set up exactly the same way at about the same time. Some of them work
and some don't. I have created each of the groups in /usr/exim/groups and
have added the include statement in /etc/aliases (groupname:
:include:/usr/exim/groups/groupname ). Can anybody give me some ideas on
what might be wrong?? Where would be the best place to start looking??

If you try and send a mail to one of the groups that does not work, it does
not appear in any of the Exim logs. The sender gets a mail back after a few
hours saying that the mail has been delayed. After about 2-3 days, it says
that the delivery has failed.

Regards & Thanks,

Alan Smith.
