have been advertising regularly both a PCI (£35) and external (£25) modem
for linux. They say the PCI is 100% hardware and has no winmodem siliness
about it, quote "1001% linux compatible".
It's normally on their "today only" page every couple of days, I'm not
usre if it is in their every day products, but their site's down right now
so I cannot check it.
PCI modems are handy from a desk space & power sockets point of
view. I've been considering getting one myself.
