On Sat, 19 May 2001 Niall O Broin didst pronounce:
:Anyway, Norton has a defrag program called speeddisk which has a GUI with a
:sector map and right at the end of the disk, there appeared to be a little
:dot which was slightly different coloured than the others. Sure enough, when
:speeddisk was done, the dot was gone, and fips was happy. If you're anywhere
:near Lucan, you're welcome to borrow this copy of the Norton utilities if
:you can't get sorted otherwise.
He already has Norton installed and speeddisk was the first defrag he
tried. When that didn't work he tried the windows one. Neither sorted
the problem though.
::::Kindest regards,
