Seeing as how we are on this subject here's one for ya,
how do I delete the following files...

? any help much appreciated, and how would you go about creating them

Quote parsing is performed by the *shell*, and option parsing is
performed by the *command*. Quoting the name won't make any
difference to what 'rm' sees.
