Hmm, as it's solaris, it's possible someone may have been fscking around with different locales,
logged in in something like chinese or greek or some UTF-8 locale and created some file using some
non-ascii chars in the filename. Standard C locale dtterms sometimes barf when they try to read
those characters.
One way to get rid of them could be to open up the CDE file manager, select the files there, and
just hit 'delete'. Contrary to popular opinion in the techy world, not everything in unix has to be
done at the command prompt ;-P
