Doesn't digital unix [1] cost about a grand just for a licence for
such a machine?
Other options:
(i) Run a *real* linux on a pee cee. Why mess about with artificial linuces?
(ii) Check out compusys.co.uk - ISTR they sell alphas.
(iii) Buy something on ebay. This is probably your best bet.
