[ILUG] laptops

I've a large Allsop pack which is pretty nice - *loads* of room for stuff.

There's a main compartment with the padded laptop holder which ends up
against the small of your back, so great for not moving around (which kills
on a bike).

The lappie is a Dell Inspiron 7500, with a 15.something " screen, it's the
biggest screen of the range so it's a tight squeeze but still fits. TBF it's
a desktop replacement job so anything smaller will fit really well.

I got the pack in Compustore Galway last year, round IR?45 - was going to
states, didn't want a big *STEAL ME* sign on my bag. Unless you're familiar
with the pack you wouldn't know it was a laptop.

The I7500 is running Mandrake 7.1 fine (haven't gotten round to upgrade
yet). The internal modems Dell ship are usually winmodems, and although not
exactly what you're looking for, the Psion Gold Card 56K I have works great
under Mandrake.

Al.
