List,

I'm trying to update my kernel from 2.2.14 to 2.4.3. But inorder for my
system, laptop with a SiS 630 graphics card, to work I need to compile vesa
frame buffer capabilites into the kernel, But if I try do a make menuconfig
there are no framebuffer options and if I try the make xconfig the frame
buffer options are greyed out. Is there a way to force a frame buffer
configuration, or do I need to select some options to enable the frame buffer.

--
Thanks.
Jason.
