I got one of these about 2 weeks ago.

Similar story to this one - the guy worked with the Nigerian Mining company 
or something like that (can't remember!)

Seems it's a common one. Pat Kenny did an expose on a few others like that 
last year including one from South Africa claiming that you had been left 
money by someone you'd never herad of. You had to forward bank account 
details to a solicitors office so you could get the money.

An even better one arrived to me in the post about a month back from 
Australia promising to enter me in a draw for something like AUS$2,400,000 
if I was kind enough to send them AUS$18!!

And the best part was that if I won, the secretary of the guy who wrote the 
letter would arrange for the cash(!) to be delivered to my home in an 
"unmarked suitcase"!!!
