Good plan Stan - I actually downloaded and compiled tidy a while ago but I
didn't tyr using it in anger - must do so now.

Me, I'd love to do just that. But it's just not practical for me to tell my
customers to tell their customers to change their browsers. We established a
baseline of NN 4.x / IE 5 and it's not practical now to go back and move
that particular goalpost. In many cases, the endusers are in big
organisations where they are not in a position to change their browser
themselves anyway.
