Kathryn,

If you honestly believe that most ILUG members aren't cynical and arrogant,
I think you've been reading the wrong list. ILUG members /are/ cynical and
arrogant, most of them wear those qualities like a badge of honour. It comes
with the territory - when I was a member, /I/ was cynical and arrogant. I
still am. However, I'm not asking them to stop being cynical and arrogant,
I'm asking them to put these qualities behind them when it comes to the
IrelandOffline Blackout, because it's for their own good. You don't honestly
believe that our efforts, however pathetic in your eyes, are going to /slow
down/ the process, do you? If it works, everyone will benefit. If it doesn't
work, the losses are negligible for most, all that happens is that I lose
face, which doesn't bother me in the slightest. So where's the harm? If you
really want to say "I told you so", take part and prove me wrong.
