[ILUG] NIS - Server is Linux, Client is Solaris

I'm trying to get NIS working from a Linux Server to Solaris Client..

It sees the usernames, but for some reason they can't log on... i.e. root can su to any user, but they can't log in.

Also, root can't set the passwords...

Looks like the encryption of the password is different.

Any ideas on how to solve this one??

TIA
RikD
