Yeah its cool. I installed Mandrake some-version on a Prolly 6500 quad
processor as far as I can remember.
Worked grand, stopped short of playing Quake3, tempting though it was :)
Dunno about Dell but they should be grand.

Hi All,
I'm looking at purchasing a Dell workstation (Precision 530) with Xeon
processors. It is shippable with Red Hat, but I intend on putting
Mandrake
on it at some stage. The Mandrake website does not specifically mention
support for Xeon processors, and although Mandrake is supposed to 100%
Red
Hat compatible, I just wanted to be sure to be sure!
Has anyone any experience of running Mandrake on a Xeon powered box?
Thanks.
Dermot
