Hi lads and lassies,
Now before I begin, the NIC may actually be faulty but before I go
pulling systems apart...
Is IRQ 7 cool for Linux or is it "hardcoded" for ISA (LPT) ? The system
I have has no LPT ports, however, I am wondering whether LINUX has any
issues with this.
Just wondering coz I am playing with the box anyway. I have two nics,
eth0 and eth1 obviously. eth1 comes up cool, however eth0 does not.
Cables are verified and links are there, switch is also fine. Both nics
use identical chipsets and drivers are very much up to date.
Jus' wunderin.
