[ILUG] FreeBSD 4.4

[ILUG] FreeBSD 4.4

Dose anybody here use FreeBSD 4.4 ?

I just wondering if you can use VESA framebuffer devices under this release,
AFAIK you couldn't under 4.2, and I which to install it on a laptop not
currently supported by XFree (SiS630).

If it is, is it a kernel recompile or what? I have looked through google and
some Free BSD sites and they just answer with Yes it dose, but do not explian
how to get it to work.

Thanks
Jason
