Well, the man did ask about CDs and I've used the hfs module a lot with CDs
with no problems. I've also used it with HFS ZIP disks, again with no
problems, neither with the disks nor Linux.

I've used hfsutils but as I was processing CDs with Perl scripts the kernel
module was a lot easier. Glad I didn't know it was so dangerous :-)
