I have a bog standard old wintv - one thing I've found is that all the
channel presets in xawtv are off by a bit, particularly for cable t.v. -
presumably, ntl are transmitting at slightly non-standard locations in the
spectrum, since the problem affects old T.V.s which have the 0-69 preset
channel positions too. Basically, you can use the arrow keys to fine tune.
I'd really much prefer it if they didn't bother with the presets at all, but
let you specify a frequency. Old versions of kwintv, for example, let you do
this, but new ones have the ancient channel presets and fine tuning instead,
which is a step backwards if you're looking for stations that aren't exactly
at the preset positions.
