[ILUG] Can anybody help us with TAS

[ILUG] Can anybody help us with TAS

Hi All,

Would anybody be able to help us to get TAS books working in Linux. We are a
fairly new company and we do IT support for a number of small businesses in
the midlands area. At present most of them are using MS Windows in some form
but we would like to change some of them over to Linux. As I'm sure you can
appreciate a lot of these smaller businesses just can't afford the licenses
for all the MS products. We ourselves use Linux a bit, but to be honest we
are more familiar with MS Windows. A lot of these companies don't mind what
they are using, but almost all of them have 1 product that they need to have
working - TAS Books Accounting.

Has anybody ever got it working in Linux, using WINE or an emulator? Or
would anybody like to work with us in trying to get it going. We don't have
a huge amount of experience with Linux yet and are far from experts, but we
are prepared to learn and put in a lot of effort to get this going.

We would appreciate any help or advice that any of you could offer us,
Thanks & regards,
Gerry.
