On Thu, 29 Nov 2001 Richard Eibrand didst pronounce:
>I have set up a shortcut to launch a console window in Ximian gnome using the Sawfish window thermer, and most of
>the time it works fine. The annoying thing is that for some of the accounts I have on the box, the shortcut launches
>the console window alright, but in some other directory than that users home dir.
>>Has anyone come across the same or similar problem, if so how can it be remedied?
>I remember having the same problem in gnome on RH7.0 (whatever the
default is with it). The fix was to edit $HOME/.gnome/session (I
think) and change Rootdir= to the home directory of the user. In
the version of gnome I have now, it's in .gnome/session but the
bit to edit is CurrentDirectory=. I'm not using Ximian, but this
might point you in the right direction.
