This is the issue alright -- as Kate said, committing code to a source
code control system is a big deal. You really are committing to it ;)
(I remember some really really hairy moments with ClearCase in the past
when some ludicrous can't-cope-with-no-disk-space bug totally f***ed up
its history, requiring some __serious__ backup-restores and days of work
by engineers to rebuild the files from their checked-out versions. :(
Not a decision to take lightly, esp for commercial work!)
