 Hmm. I remember doing on Solaris support with a customer of Sun &
ClearCase. Basically, ClearCase was having a massive corruption problem,
and kept restoring from backups, the corruption would happen again, so
they blamed the hardware. After replacing the whole poxy machine, it
turned out that ClearCase had corrupted something else, way back, and
references to that made it corrupt other bits. To the large dublin
developer, they just said "here is the patch, it won't happen again". 

 Damn right, as they threw the whole lot out, after losing the revision
history on pretty much two years of development....
