Hi,

Since you made a network boot disk, why not just install via ftp?
Tis a bit easier and unless you actually want to do it with nfs you'll be up
and running in no time.

Did you run

exportfs -a

after changing /etc/exports? Also, make sure that if you have the host name
in /etc/exports that that host name resolves to the correct IP address,
