I've been trying to steer clear of this whole thread, but anyway:
an acquaintance of mine who spent much time banging the apt gong at my
oblivious ears insisted on several occasions that RedHat were, in fact,
switching to apt 'really soon now'. I've never seen any correlation of
this, but he was pretty insistent about it.
