Nah, left it in /usr/src/linux-2.4.6/arch/i386/boot/bzImage . Should it be 
in /boot ?

lilo.conf's pointing to it, and yes, I reran lilo after each time. I tried it 
about 6 times over the past coupla days, so I'm sure it's not something 
trivial. (to me anyway ;-)
