From the kernel howto:
"After bzImage is successful, copy the kernel image to /boot directory. You
must copy the new kernel image to /boot directory, otherwise the new kernel MAY
NOT boot. "
Hrmph. I hope it's that easy.

The veritable BBC :-) I don't need it, my old kernel boots fine. If I knew what
caused xfs to go belly-up though...
