Possible, although I looked in .../Documentation/Changes for stuff, and found
that pretty much everything I need is up to date EXCEPT for modutils and
e2fsprogs, which are both a minor version number behind. Of course don't forget
that the versions of everything else I have are probably RH-modified

That's exactly what I'm trying NOT to do :-S I've been doing that for years,
and thought it'd be a good idea to learn how to do it properly...
