OK this is the problem I'm having.
I'm setting up diskless workstations.
I use kernel level DHCP configuration to set things up at first.
I then run dhcpcd to configure such things as the DNS server, gateway,
NIS domain, domainname, hostname etc.
The problem comes when I shutdown the machine.
When you stop dhcpcd it stops any interfaces it was running for.
I would rather it did not as being diskless the machines then can't
access there root.
Does anybody know of a way to stop dhcpcd stopping the interfaces when
it stops.
