You won't, you know, unless there's a huge segment of the market that the
ILUG hasn't encountered. AFAIK getting CDs professionally pressed is not
viable for runs of less than several hundred as the mastering charge is
relatively high - it's a little analogous to printing in that way i.e. it
might cost you £X for 500, and 10% more than that for 1000. Figures and
breaks are just made up but you get the point. As with many things that
ILUGers would like to be able to buy at reasonable cost e.g. broadband
Internet access, computer hardware, geek gadgets the Irish market is just
too small to be able to generate the level of demand, and hence competition,
that is required to provide choice and low prices.
