List,

I have installed the latest Apache, and it starts fine. My error.log has the 
following ....

[Wed Oct 10 18:19:10 2001] [warn] Loaded DSO libexec/libphp4.so uses plain 
Apach
e 1.3 API, this module might crash under EAPI! (please recompile it with 
-DEAPI)
[Wed Oct 10 18:19:10 2001] [warn] Loaded DSO libexec/libperl.so uses plain

[Wed Oct 10 18:19:10 2001] [notice] Apache/1.3.20 (Unix) mod_perl/1. PHP/4.0.6

But I cann't connect. If I do the follwoing I get ... 

root at logdub566:/usr/local/apache/bin# ./apachectl status

Looking up localhost
Making HTTP connection to localhost
Alert!: Unable to connect to remote host.

lynx: Can't access startfile http://localhost/server-status


There is nothing in the access_log, What should I do next?
