It depends on the type of winmodem. Some have at least some dsp
functionality on board, others are little more than a mono sound card with
an RJ11 presentation.
The very dumb ones won't run very well on a P90, the semi-smart ones will
usually do OK on a P90, but won't give stellar performance.
