Yep, sure nuff, but if you remove the software for the modem, and access the
port, then its kewl.

Sorry to burst your bubble Conor, but that's no good because Hyperterminal
is a 'doze application and when 'doze is running, a Winmodem responds like a
modem because the PC based driver and the DSP hardware combine to BE a
modem. That's why I suggested DOS or Linux software.
