For my sins I'm having to work with OSI again. It's been two years since I
last did so, at which point I gleefully threw away all the related material
I had accumulated, happy in the knowledgde that I'd never need it again :-)
Now I need to read myself back into the joys of "The Networking Protocol
That Would Be King" (except that the blackguard TCP wouldn't have the good
grace to lie down and die as predicted) but quickly. I haven't looked in
Waterstones / HF yet - haven't been in town, perhaps tomorrow, but I doubt
I'll find anything. So it's scrounging time - do any of you have any OSI
books (Stallings or Black for preference) gathering dust on a shelf
somewhere which I could buy/borrow. I had a look on Amazon but they're
quoting lead times of 1 to 2 weeks before shipping, and I need this NOW - I
have to at least start chipping through my ignorance by Monday.
Regards,
Niall
