I managed to get an updated bios image from asus' website and flashed the
bios yesterday.
I remember reading somewhere that the bios had to be 3.07, which is what i
now have.
Next prob ... I dont have a cd drive in this machine, so i should export the
cd from another machine as an nfs share, by adding the mount point to the
/etc/exports file and restarting nfsd ?
Do i need the ip of the "client" in /etc/hosts.allow ?
or .... since my other desk machine is dual boot win98/redhat7 could run an
ftp server under 'doze and install by ftp ?
Suggestions welcome.
