 The format posted is absolutely correct, but you need to make sure that
 postfix is using the correct file.

 What is the output of "postconf alias_maps"? Did you rebuild the specified
 file(s) with the postalias command? Did the postfix logs then indicate that
 some daemons (in this case: local) quit because some table has changed?
