That IS a clever idea - will you have a video capture card for each camera or 
what?

oh yes, will do -> videos!

ehmm not that kind of video of course...

idea is to use the 'motion' programme to record security camera
footage when motion is detected to cheap disks in cheap PCs in mpeg
format rather than to 24hr VHS tape, and have it web accessible.
